Church leaders throughout the National Capital Region and surrounding communities are gathering to re-kindle their own prayer lives\, and to more intentionally intercede for an increase of kingdom influence in our region and nation. \nTom and Terri White from Corvallis\, Oregon will be leading our time together. A veteran in\nleading prayer summits\, Tom works with city churches to impact their communities for Christ.\nFor many years Tom and Terri have been involved in developing citywide gospel movements\,\nteaching on prayer\, spiritual formation and spiritual warfare\, as well as facilitating prayer\nretreats for Kingdom leaders globally. There is a gathering momentum of prayer in our city and region. We want to keep fanning this flame until the whole National Capital Region experiences an outpouring of the God’s Spirit. \nIsaiah 61:3-4\nIn their righteousness\, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. They will rebuild the ancient ruins\, repairing cities destroyed long ago. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Quiet Pools and Love Ottawa are presenting a city-wide evening event for men and women: Sabbath Rest – God’s Gift to Us. Click here to Register \nFriday March 24th\, 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Vineyard Ottawa* \n* Please note the change of location – this event has outgrown the original space.  Vineyard Ottawa is located at 51 Greenbank Rd\, just south of Baseline Rd.  \nJoin us for a refreshing and meaningful evening as we consider how Sabbath can joyfully deepen our walk with God and strengthen us as leaders. We all need more rest! \nDr. Barker will be speaking about Sabbath and his personal journey towards Sabbath-keeping. Dr. David Barker\, Professor at Heritage Theological Seminary since 1978. Dr. Barker is “everyone’s favorite professor”\, an awesome teacher of the Bible\, passionate\, engaging and funny. He has earned degrees and doctorates from Grace Theological Seminary. \nThe evening will include Dr. David Barker’s talk\, refreshments and then a panel of 5 guest leaders from Ottawa each giving an interesting and practical 5 minute Ted Talk on how they try to practice Sabbath including the challenges they face to overcome their own busyness. \nRegister here \nRegistration details: Cost: $10.00 per person\, $15.00 per couple. DESCRIPTION:Come and learn all the ins and outs of hosting a Big Give Event. This session will answer all of your questions about how to run a successful Big Give community outreach on June 3\, 2017.
